How to buy our paper straws
By Steffen Andersen · 15. November 2019
In the following paper, I will quickly go over some of the important things to consider when buying paper straws. You are of course also welcome to contact your customer support for help.
Type
Our paper straws come in 3 different widths:
- 6 mm – Primarily used for iced coffee, soft drinks and cocktails
- 8 mm – This width is perfect for smoothies and milkshake
- 10 mm – Perfect for bubble tea, so the boba easily can come through the straw
Flexo-print as printing method
We print our paper straws with flexo printing and Pantone colours. With this method, the straws are printed before they are folded, which means your print will be all over the straw.
Length
The straws come in the 5 following lengths. Please note that the widths are available in different lengths:
- 140 mm (6 mm, 8 mm) – Because of their short length, they are mostly used for cocktails
- 160 mm (6 mm, 8 mm) – Perfect for larger cocktails
- 200 mm (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm) – This length of paper straw is our most used size and is used in different drinks such as juices and soft drinks
- 230 mm (8 mm, 10 mm) – Perfect for milkshakes and smoothies
- 250 mm (8 mm, 10 mm) – This length is mostly used for extra large cups and is perfect for giant sodas at the movies
Choose your colour(s)
The paper straws can be printed with up to 2 Pantone colours for no extra cost. We can print them with 6 colours: black, white, blue, green, red, and dark yellow.
You can choose between having the same colour on all of the straw or if you want stripes.
Quantity
The minimum order quantity for our flexo-printed paper straws is 10.000 pcs.
